These small, apelike creatures sport sharp claws and vicious teeth, and often run in packs. They will attack the Monster and the Hunters, though lone Reavers will often run rather than fight. They can be a nuisance especially to an Evolving Monster, but aren't much danger otherwise.
Reavers eat corpses of nearby wildlife, denying the monster valuable food and potentially allowing the hunters to deny valuable buffs to the monster by pulling Reavers to desired locations.

The Elite Reaver gives a 200% bonus armor regeneration perk to the Monster and a 35% less Jetpack fuel usage perk for the Hunters. This reduced flight cost for hunters does not apply to jetpack dodges. This buff lasts 5 minutes.
