Factor was a human colony in the universe of Evolve, notably the homeworld of the trapper Maggie (but not of Daisy, who was purchased from Shear colony). It was destroyed several years prior to the events of Evolve in a monster attack, noticeably featuring the Behemoth and the (cancelled but canon) Host monster. The destruction of Factor was largely covered up, and has been attributed to many different causes.
Maggie remained on Factor for two years after its destruction, before eventually repairing a NORDITA evacuation ship and making her escape. While there were other survivors of the initial attacks, none but Maggie and Daisy were known to have made it off the planet alive.
